Many people wonder if online dating does work. Frankly speaking I never believed it worked till my old friend Olga announced her wedding with an American guy. It seemed they were looking for each other for a very long time and a dating site was the place they met. All that happened is just like a fairy tale or a dream.
They had a long correspondence for about two years. Rob was the first foreign man she dared to meet in real life. Olga told me, when she saw him for the very first time, she immediately felt chemistry. She didn’t speak English, he didn’t speak Russian. Of course, they used the help of an interpreter for the first time. But still they understood each other without words. I saw them together, Rob made an impression of an intelligent, calm and kind man. He came to Russia to meet her parents and make a proposal. They started filling the documents for fiancée visa to the USA. Olga started learning English, Rob helped her a lot. Now they are living in Colorado for about four years. She is really happy, they love each other and take care of each other.
