Every Russian woman is fond of traveling. One of my friends has recently been to Cuba. She came back tanned, full of energy with a bag of souvenirs, cigars, and Cuban coffee. Listening to the Cuban tunes we watched the photos with white beaches, old streets, and magnificent landscapes. And then she brought a bottle of famous Cuban rum “Habana Club” and said that she was going to make tasty cocktails. Cuba is famous for cocktails. In bars there you can order rum, ice, and other ingredients and make cocktails yourself. So I’d like to offer you several recipes.
Mokhito. It’s a national Cuban drink. It’s favourite drink of Fidel Castro. Ernest Hemingway also was fond of it. Light, refreshing Mokhito appeared in Cuba in 40s of the previous century and became the symbol of the island as well as cigars. They say that Mokhito without “Habana Club” is not Mokhito, but in the modern variant women from Russia prefer “Bacardi”.
