World Men's Day |
World Men's Day is a holiday celebrated on the first Saturday of November. It was established on the initiative of journalist and writer George Kindel in November 2000 with the support of the Vienna magistrate, the leadership of the UN office in Vienna and a few international organizations.
Even though the holiday has not received widespread international attention and was officially celebrated only in Austria in 2000-2004 and in Germany in 2003, it continues to exist and is celebrated unofficially.
