Discussing the crisis with your foreign pen pal |
All of people wish to live in plenty. And not only to have everything necessary, but sometimes (or regularly) show off, surprising everybody by their financial success. And each of us on the way to material well-being at least once in a life asked himself (though most people keep on doing it) what is better: to save money or earn more? This year under the global crisis you can hardly earn more, you would say. It is true only in part. If you manage not to lose your job, you will be able to find some additional earnings. In hard times firms prefer keeping the minimal staff and hire employees on the base of piecework system. This way companies don’t have to pay taxes, vacation pay, and hospital insurance. In the other hand under the crisis you can save more: buy necessary goods on sale or bargain when buying anything from jeans to a flat. No doubt whether to save or earn more first of all has to do with the person’s profession and his psychological preferences. The situation is the same in most countries of the world. In Russia some women have lost their jobs. Ask your foreign girlfriend if everything is going fine, as every man wants to live well and make his foreign bride feel stability.
