| July, 8 is an All-Russian Day of Love, Family, and Faithfulness. This holiday was introduced by the initiative of State Duma deputes. The initiative to celebrate Family Day was approved by all traditional religious organizations of Russia, as the idea of celebrating this holiday has no confessional boundaries. There are examples of faithfulness and love in all religions. This holiday was celebrated for the first time in 2008 which was declared the year of family. This new holiday has a medal that will be presented on the 8th of July and a very tender symbol – a chamomile.
